Commitment to cleanliness
- A perfectly clean kitchen: owen, refrigerator, machines, worktop, inside of cupboards, hobs, kitchen utensils and so on cleaned top to bottom.
- Remember to clean the spaces between the machines and the worktop, remove all of the food from cupboards
- Immaculate bathroom: no limescale on taps, no marks on the bathtub, shiny enamel
- Clean floors: polished parquet floor, shampooed carpet and rugs or changed in case of irrecoverable damage
- Clean bedding: replace pillows and linen whenever it is necessary
- Clean and properly hung curtains, sheer curtains and blinds
- Cleaned window panes
- Cleaned balconies and terraces
- Clean toilet bowl with limescale removed
- Cleaned door frames and switches
Remember to let a set of household cleaning products
Give special attention to home decoration
- Furniture that form a harmonious whole
- Refreshed wall paintings (approximately every two or three years)
- Lampshade or spotlight for each light (no naked light bulb)?Matching crockery items
- Made beds (pillows, duvet, duvet cover or sheets + blanket + bedspreads)
- Ironed sheets
- Avoid flower wallpaper, give a preference to paint
- Wall tiling in the bathroom
- Choose a shower screen rather than a shower curtain
As a general rule, choose parquet floor preferably to carpet
Check all equipments
- Household appliances in good state of repair. Check systematically that instructions manuals and warranties are accessible
- Plumbing: easy access to the main water shutoff valve, no toilet tank leak
- Immaculate bathroom: taps, aerators, descaled shower head, regularly regrouted tiles
- EDF: electrical installation in conformity with French standards, sufficient electrical power, switches in good condition
- A modern television set with a good basic reception (including French TNT: the digital terrestrial television)
- Safely installed and in good working condition curtain rods
- A good lighting (include spare light bulbs)
- Blinds and sliding wardrobe doors in good working condition
- The essentials: sofa-bed (in particular for two-room apartments) in good condition, good bedding (firm mattresses, pillow protectors, two mattress protectors), crockery according to the size of the apartment
