CLAIRE DE CIRCOURT

Claire de Circourt is President and founder of De Circourt Associates, a company she created upon her return from the United states where she lived and learned for fifteen years.

At eighteen, she decided to go to the United States in order to learn English. She felt that England was too close and was attracted by the magnitude –in terms of both physical size and international impact- of North America. She started her life there, in Shelby, North Carolina, where she taught French to the three children of a lovely family. From there, she moved on to Winston-Salem where she studied at the two main Universities while preparing to open her first business: a skin care counseling center. Soon, her university teachers, their friends and word-of-mouth referrals became her clients, and she developed a multi-state reputation and sales territory.

A phone call from the skin care product's headquarters in New York City changed the course of her life. Impressed by her large orders, the Sales Director invited her to come to New York  to discuss her success and achievements.  She was then hired to travel throughout the country selling franchises and sharing her sales techniques with would-be buyers.

Her main secret is work, work and more work, combined with the love for her clients. With real dedication, she never had to advertise ---she really wanted her clientele to look their best!  She applied this same secret when, tired of her nomadic life, she sought a new challenge in New York. She soon joined a real estate company whose owner (a former laywer) became her mentor in this new field --renting furnished apartments to expatriates and transient Americans was a very interesting experience. Pretty soon, Claire de Circourt had contacted all of the French institutions, banks, and other French-owned businesses. Success followed.

When returning to France, she relied on this latter experience and, in 1987, she founded De Circourt Associates, a company whose objective was to help people coming from the world over to find accommodations suited to their needs and particular budgets. In creating such a niche, then adding twenty years of experience, Claire de Circourt is the indisputable leader in this market. De Circourt Associates's team is bi-lingual English, but also includes Spanish, Italian, German, Swedish, Arabic and Laotian. Their dynamic and service-oriented personalities make a positive and lasting impact. More than 100 world-renowned companies have been patrons, half of them for over two decades.

Claire de Circourt says her day-to-day motivation comes from both her team and her clients. Her team's talents and dedication to their work encourage her to always seek better ways and the latest technologies to accomplish the company's mission, resulting in an open and comfortable ambiance which the clients immediately sense.

Working with a global clientele is a gratifying challenge, permitting Claire de Circourt and her collaborators to constantly grow and renew themselves.
