Although taxis in Paris are available day and night, 24/7, they can often be hard to come by. The taxi company Taxi G7 offers English-speaking operators and drivers, and all of their cabs take credit cards (most Parisian taxis do not take credit cards). Dial +33 (0)1 41 27 66 99 to call a taxi in English.

You will be charged for the taxi's trip from their home station to your location, so always call the nearest station for a reasonable starting meter (between 3 and 5€). The city of Paris has put together a map of all the taxi stands in Paris. It's quite an extensive map!

There is also an application called Paris Taxis Download it on your iPhone. Or download it from Google Play. Hail a cab with just one click!

As you know, there is aways the taxi-alternative, Uber. Or you can use Snapcar or Heetch. They all have competitive rates and many car options so you can choose your ride.

Looking to transport a large group? Jean-Wilfrid Taxi offers vans with seating for up to 7, but make sure to call ahead of time to reserve a van. Credit cards are accepted, and drivers speak English! +33 (0)6 69 58 86 57

Visit the official Paris tourism website for details on how to around Paris. The city of Paris also offers a Transportation Guide for Foreign Residents. Take a look around these sites and hopefully, you'll be getting around the city in no time!
